Roll direction refers to the way that your labels are oriented on the roll. Your labels can be supplied to you in a variety of different roll directions, so understanding which orientation will suit your label's method of application is an essential part of ordering.
Roll direction can fall under two categories - Outside Wound, and Inside Wound. Outside wound means that your labels are applied onto the outer facing side of the roll, and inside wound means that your labels are applied onto the inner facing side. Outside wound is more common, so if in doubt, we default to outside wound.
